Check out the results on this website. Congratulations to Patrick Boily from Timmins for breaking the Chutes 10K record with a time of 36:15:3. The youngest runner award for the 10K was won by Logan Emiry (11) from Massey, ON and the oldest runner award was won by Armande Pieschke (71) from Sault Ste. Marie, ON. Spanish River Half Marathon award winners were Luigi Carlesso, (72) Toronto - the Philip Scheid Award for the oldest runner and Beth Petro (16), Brecksville, OH for the youngest runner. Friendly Massey Marathon award winners were Xavier Rongits (13) Elliot Lake for the youngest runner and Wally Herman (83) Ottawa for the oldest runner. There was an Achievement Award presented to Dr. Ashis Roy, Delhi India for completing his 93rd Marathon at the age of 77. Our race committee is busy preparing for the 34th annual Friendly Massey Marathon, 21st annual Spanish River Half Marathon and 3rd annual Chutes 10K to be held July 18, 2010 in the small, friendly community of Massey. The marathon is accredited through the Ontario Roadrunners Association and is a qualifier for the Boston Marathon. ChampionChip Timing provided by Sportstats.
